This small leaflet of 13 selected poems was produced for the 25th Anniversary of the book Peace-Blossom-Fragrance that comprises 700 poems on peace dedicated by Sri Chinmoy to the UN’s 50th Anniversary.


On 24 July 1975, the Interfaith “Day of Prayer” was observed in the UN Community. Sri Chinmoy presided at a gathering of representatives from major religions. In a New York Times article, the Executive Director of the Council of Churches of New York was quoted as saying it was the “most representative gathering of religious leaders ever held in the city”.
